38 weeks!

How far along? 38 weeks! We are in the last few weeks!

Symptoms: Acid reflux, legs are very swollen! Braxton Hicks all the time!

Total Weight gain/loss: I gained 3 pounds in one week! My knees-calf-ankle are all the same size. I'm really swollen!

Sleep: I turn all night long. Can't stay comfortable. Hips hurt and hands fall asleep. Boo!

Food Cravings: Not really craving anything! I do love to eat though. Definitely not slacking up there!

Best Moment this week: I had a sprinkle on Saturday and my work threw me a shower on Tuesday!

Movement: It moves a lot but you can tell it has nowhere to go lol

Labor signs: None thank goodness! Jarrod will be gone Thursday through Saturday so we don't want a baby until after the weekend!

Gender: No clue and not finding out! We've got our names nailed down.... Can't wait to see if it's ABE or PJE

Belly button in or out: It's working on making its way out. The top part is partially out.

What I miss: Putting my shoes on easily lol.. Being able to bend over and breathe at the same time haha. Getting comfortable. Being able to get out of a chair without flailing around haha!!

What I am looking forward to: We are this close to being prepared! Finally!

Milestones: Another week down! We will be a family of 4 within 2 weeks (or so...)

Weekly wisdom: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you"..... Praying for a healthy end to this pregnancy!

Blessed.

37 weeks!

How far along? 37 weeks! I'm kind of in disbelief that we are almost done with this pregnancy!

Symptoms: Acid reflux, swelling hands and feet (eek!) - Dr said it looked fine though! Starting to have to get up to pee throughout the night :( Braxton Hicks all the time!

Total Weight gain/loss: Dr appt today showed a total gain at 28 pounds right now.. Hoping I'm almost done gaining lol

Sleep: I turn all night long. Can't stay comfortable. Hips hurt and hands fall asleep. Boo! They say I'm getting prepared for lack of sleep - nothing can prepare you for that!!! Lol!

Food Cravings: Not really craving anything! I do love to eat though. Definitely not slacking up there!

Best Moment this week: Dr appt was today! Baby still head down.. Another check up next week! I did burn my belly on the stove yesterday… I wouldn't say that wasn't the best moment though LOL

Movement: It moves all the time! I feel it all over now so I don't really know where it's deciding to hang out at! She says it's on my right side.

Labor signs: None thank goodness! I can't believe I'm so close to meeting it! Frequent Braxton Hicks! Increased pressure (TMI). I haven't dilated yet, but I'm starting to efface. Dr said baby is still up high though. Keep it that way for another few weeks please :)

Gender: No clue and not finding out! We've got our names nailed down.... Can't wait to see if it's ABE or PJE

Belly button in or out: It's working on making its way out. The top part is partially out. I'm not sure if it will totally stick out or what!

What I miss: Putting my shoes on easily lol.. Being able to bend over and breathe at the same time haha. People NOT touching me!! Ha.. Why do people feel like they need to touch your belly when you're pregnant?

What I am looking forward to: Getting everything finished for this baby!

Milestones: We are now full term! Mommy and baby's hospital bags are packed!!

Weekly wisdom: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you"..... Praying for a healthy end to this pregnancy!

My Days with G

I'm trying to cherish my last few weeks with ONE child. She has no idea what's about to happen to her world (and frankly I don't either!!). I love only working three days a week. We get a lot of days at home together with nothing that has to be done!

We usually start our mornings around 800... Of course I'm up off and on from 4am.. I usually am awake by 7 but I lay in bed snuggling her until she wakes up. This is our typical wake up:

G: where's daddy?
Me: he's at school
G: can I see him?
Me: yes this afternoon when he gets home.
G: get up momma (as she's climbing out of the bed) let's go the the wiving (living) room and play!

Same convo every morning! She is so funny. We go eat breakfast (we've been making muffins and she LOVES them!). I told her yesterday we would make muffins and she said "I wuv muffins, they are good for my tummy!"

See?? HILARIOUS!

We usually play until 12ish when it is time to nap. She's really been fighting going to sleep lately so I told her she didn't have to sleep she just had to lay in bed. 10 minutes later and she was OUT! She's working on her bargaining skills and I'm not a fan!

After nap we play some more or watch TV (Baby Einstein and Mickey are her current choices). Daddy comes home by 4 and they play the rest of the night!

She's at such a fun age right now, she keeps me laughing. I hope the new baby doesn't mess her up too bad!

Blessed.
